Nick Ferrari LBC and David Blunkett campaign is quite correct and most apt!
People are literally sick to the pits with these extinction rebellion stopping the nation working..getting to important appointments.medical legal funerals etc How dare they!
Miss Greta etc..stop being ..busy doing nothing!! They appear to be people with time on their hands! Perhaps the army etc..could use them
Do something really helpful..Go away!!!
The Law should now be strengthened on keeping our streets etc clear
Life is difficult enough for many ..without these extra intrusions

Paramount,
You are not too old to learn so listen to what Greta Thunberg is saying and wake up as the rest of the world is beginning to do.
We, you and I, have contributed to the state the planet is in and now the young seek to correct our foolishness and selfishness, don't try to stop them but be useful and help them in their almost insurmountable task.

Please explain when, exactly, Extinction Rebellion stopped the nation working.

Personally I think a start in any clearing up of our battered old world is to declare war on plastic , and our seas and rivers being used as dumping grounds. Why is a new toothbrush wrapped in hard rigid plastic attached to cardboard. I remember going into chemist and there would be cardboard box..three types labelled Soft..Medium..Hard..you took one out that had no covering for brush head...shock horror..we never developed any disease from a naked brush head!

Plus in the fifties at Saturday morning Pictures ..there were informative films about littering..showing litter in your house..stern voice over saying you would not do this in your own home, why the do it in the streets?
And this was a time majority of street litter was chip wrappers from fish shops,or occasional newspaper sheet! Lemonade bottles were big, made of glass and returned for a deposit..tuppence or thruppence..

I know the clock can't be turned back, till then. But it would be nice to try!
I get shock seeing photos from fifties, sixties showing roads with a few bits of traffic..compared with today...why do able bodied teenagers get on a bus for one or two stops? Walking from the Borough to Loughborough junction was something we did on regular basis!
Moan over..sorry James.

I just wish they would stop trying to frighten our children and using a not very well cared for girl to do it!

Go over to GMH park, the entrance opposite Notre Dame school, turn a direct right into the Buddhist garden and you will see a board with info of all the different trees and how they got here etc. On this board it clearly states (this is educational btw) that 12k years ago we were deep in an ice age that we are still coming out of. If we're still coming out of an ice age, wouldn't the temp rise?

Ah yes, I am sure the vast majority of the worlds scientists haven't thought of this.

That did cross my mind.

Who are ‘they’? Our children should be frightened; I am. And who is this ‘not very well cared for’ girl? Do you mean Greta Thunberg?

Daffodils and pink blossom in full bloom in January in Rotherhithe, I believe Extinction Rebellion is right.
If there is no climate change then please someone explain why Spring is now in January.
