Why were there no chairs available for people to sit on near the bandstand on Saturday? I would loved to have stood and listened to the entertainment there for longer than twenty minutes....but according to the compere the chairs had been delayed on the A23? nice one...even had the grass been dry I could not have sat down easily.

It was lovely to see and hear the little stage school children performing, the dog show etc.,

but the cretins driving the large vans in the park, the kids on bikes zooming along pathway made manouvering a wheel chair a bit difficult...

p.s. the jerk chicken was great!

Hi,

I'm organising a project called 'Balance for Life' on the 25 of September. I'm thinking of doing it at Bermondsey Square. After reading your message I thought of asking you: do you think this is an accesible place for a wheel chair?

Best regards,
Patricia
