Anybody recommend somebody good for a bit of decorating?

me! I've redecorated our entire one bedroom flat since moving in (19 months ago).
Do you like the stuff they do on Changing rooms?

This is not an excuse for off-topic discussion of burger bars instead of kitchens...

what kind of work did you have in mind?
I've never done wallpapering before (on my own), so that's out, and the last set of shelves I put up took three days instead of an hour, because I drilled through a ring main supplying the heater, and had to dig a six inch hole in the wall to insert some cable connectors.
..... but the bathroom looks good now it's finished - my tiling is excellent.

Somebody to put up some wallpaper.

I know you already spoke to Michael Rann in the context of something else - but that sounds like just his sort of job ?

Why don't you do a Cliff Richard ("let's do the show right here, ourselves!") and throw a wallpapering party. You can get papered, we can come and help you, and get plastered.

...if you press it, they will come.

>>*blonde on the inside*

Is that because you've been painted on the outside?

That might be a good idea, thanks. Not going to be for a few weeks yet...

I was trying to avoid the confusion which accompanied *blonde on the inside and the outside* (unsuccessfully, I see)...
