Possibly been asked before, but what's the story behind the fibreglass elephant at Waterloo station? It's above the escalators that come up from the tube lines, and is visible from Waterloo Road.

It was originally part of an exhibition at Gloucester Road, but was bought by London Underground and installed at Waterloo
