Oh, and something like John Lewis. I find it very distressing to have to go into the other smelly parts of London to get my haberdashery millinery and stationery.

...if you press it, they will come.

Maybe we could have part of the Bavarian Alps in SE1? We could have a mountain in Burgess Park, get rid of the Old Kent Road, and replace it with the Romantische Strasse: http://www.romanticroad.com/default.htm - A much more pleasant walk to work. I would replace Southwark and London Bridges with identical replicas of Tower Bridge and have them all opening and closing continuously - marvelous.

Garlic and Shots in Soho - that way I could walk home instead of being offensive to others on public transport following garlic steak, garlic honey vodka and garlic beer!

Oh...a beach and some decent cleaners would be nice, too!

The Famous Angel (preferably with the dining room menu as it was about five years ago)

The Prospect of Whitby (preferably as it was about fifteen years ago)

Can we also have an extra ox bow in the Thames so that they both have terraces on the east bank to catch the evening sun

BTW - has the Angel reopened after refurbishment?

The Old Red Lion on St John's Street circa 1997.

The Angel Inn on St John's Street.

Oh, and the offie on St John's Street, too.

And my office - I'm with wotsisname on that. I'd love to live a stone's throw away from work.
