- is it what the respective sexes use when no toilet is available?

...if you press it, they will come.

the postcard signs on the loos in the Wheatsheaf [next to the market] change regularly and even though I know which one the is for the laydeez I always double check......nothing to do with the consumption of alcohol prior to needing to use the facilities, of course.

pee ess - dear Wheatsheaf and Market Porter, your customers deserve a better standard of 'facilities' and I suspect that both premises could well afford to provide a better return on the investment they are making in your hospitality......

pee pee ess EV is terrific, by the way.

Tried the bar other night and had some very good wine, and good food. The Meze platter is extremely big for just over a fiver, and also enjoyed the calamari with sweet and sour rose sauce (seems to be in all of their restaurants!). Bread portion seemed a bit small, yummy as it was. Service was very prompt though we were overcharged for the wine - this was quickly rectified.

Liked the decor, furniture and style too, though the music seemed to be on the loud side. It was amusing to see that the shop is still being stocked up! Just booked to eat there on Thursday so will see how the restaurant compares.

As they still haven't updated the website, here is a scan of the menu (warning, file over 700KB!) http://www.tom-simon.homechoice.co.uk/evmenu.JPG

I was near the British Museum on Sun... and Ii am sure I saw that the old BM shop is being transformed into the BM Caff, courtesy of TAS.

If I am right, TAS is growing quicker than McDonalds !

Whatever happened to the branch of TAS on Farringdon Road, which mysteriously burnt down a year ago? Any ideas if they have plans to reopen it?
