Get Weatherspoons involved, they'll turn it into a pub, and that will be used by the vast majority of the community ... just kidding really, although The Capitol in Forest Hill was a theatre/cinema, and is now a Weatherspoons, with free wifi, and open from 9am through till 1am most days.
(also not SE1, but it's a used to be cinema)

Meant to post this earlier in the week, but the Trocadero Wurlitzer's new home is the Troxy at Limehouse and there's an open day today
