Oh good. Though I kind of imagined something a little more formation-like ... with a couple of cider drinking chums balanced on either side of super scooter; holding hands with other arm outstretched (or holding canes). Alternatively I'm sure you could sweet talk Mrs I into a kind of wing-walking stance on your pillion; canes held out in front ...

If you beep ... we will come

Right. Into the shower, and then off to P&Q. A warehouse-sized pound shop (as TULMJJ says): wonderful!

...if you press it, they will come.

Mission accomplished. Scooty coped effortlessly with two bundles of canes (approx 4ft and 6ft). So effortlessly in fact, that I thought I'd pick up a couple of (folding) camping chairs as well. Bound to come in handy next weekend, and at only 2.99 each, I thought it was too good to be resisted.

I'd link a photo if only anyone would tell me how to do it.

Rode back via Long Lane and your place, Jo. Beeped outside S the T, and TULMJJ Towers, but you missed me. Will let you know whan I nip out to get that stepladder ;0)

...if you press it, they will come.

Oh no! I missed the spectacle. I was probably sitting on Peter the Great's chair in Deptford waiting (in vain, as it turned out - it was cancelled) for the person who was supposed to take me power-boating on the Thames. God knows how you got chairs on as well. Most impressed. I'm sure a stepladder would be no problem for someone who can manage 6' canes and 2 chairs.
