Has anyone considered organising on online petition, perhaps via this forum?

I have noticed that the elected occupants of City Hall seem susceptible to pressure from campaign groups. It helps particularly if you can get press coverage, e.g. 'How My Life Was Blighted By Diesel Fumes', 'How Uncle Ken's Cronies Enjoy Red Route Parking Privileges For Their Chauffeur Driven Gas Guzzlers'.

Just a thought. If there is enough strength of feeling about it, people will sign up. If they think it's just about some nosey parker whinging because other road users park with disregard for the law, they probably won't. Either way, it will test the strength of feeling on the subject.
