Whats the most you have paid for a cup of tea in London?

I was shocked - appalled even - today I paid 1.65 for a cup of tea! I had a cup of tea and one of those little individually wrapped pack of biscuits - total 2.65.
Some swanky hotel? No - a little cafe at the Bank - down under where Mappins & Webb used to be.

Is it me? Am I that far behind the times?

Paid around 7.50 for a pot in Incognico - think it was the most expensive thing on the bill. Reckon I could have bought approximately 1000 tea bags for the same price. Bargain.

Well, a bit dear but probably not the most. Tea at the Ritz is 27, of course that includes some sandwiches, cakes and scones. Oh, and a choice of fine teas...
