Just wondering whether I should be bringing my Sky boxes with me or whether it's better to get cable? Are you allowed to put a dish up in the Thorburn Sq Conservation Area?

If you choose to put up your dish you could use as a precedent the Christmas tree effect on the exterior of Tooley Streets Devon Mansions No's 1-42 which is also within a Conservation Area.

Just a suggestion.

NO!!!!! Visible sky dishes are not allowed on any property in the conservation area. Officially, they are explicitly controlled within the conservation area planning document. However, one or two people decide to flaunt the regulations. Also - most houses, you can fit the dish on the very top of the roof so it can't be seen from the street.

Thanks JGarcia, I shall leave my sky boxes in the West End!!

Do you know which cable companies supply the grove? I couldn't live with Sky Sports!
