Found this on a quick Google - their website is apparently under construction:
SE1 United is a new youth organisation composed of articulate young people ...
The aims of SE1 United is to become more involved in their local community in ...
www.opensouthbank.org
Seems a shame they're not interested in the inarticulate ... I'd fit right in.
It was run by a lovely lady called Natalie Bell, who lives in Coin Street and should, if she is still there, be reachable through South Bank Employers Group.
A presentation given by them at a SouthBank Forum suggested that they had been really sucessful in raising external funding, and had been able to organise quite a few activities, as well as employ youth workers. So worth connnecting with.
Connecting tangentially with a recent thread by Lang Rabbie, the challenge in the future, as with other local groups, will be how to continue the current level of activity as various targeted funding sources such as ESF and SRB dry up and London Development money shifts to Olympic sites to the east.
