For too long, the residents of Southwark have had to cope with high levels of violent crime, street crime and car crime. Whilst the police always do their best to respond to calls from members of the public, inevitably, with the low levels of police in Southwark (approx. 800), the calls sometimes are not dealt with to the satisfaction of the public. The allocation of police numbers to Southwark will be decided upon in December and your new Liberal Democrat council is campaigning to get at least another 200 officers, bringing the total to over 1000. This is an extremely important campaign, and we need your support. Please find a few seconds to sign our on-line petition. The more names we get, the stronger our case becomes. Thank you for your time.
