Can anyone recommend any local history or community groups to get in touch with, with a view to speaking to people that lived in the Dockland area between 1981 and 1998 whilst the LDDC regeneration was taking place?

If anyone reading this lived or worked in the dockland area at this time and wouldnt mind me contacting them (this can be via mail, face to face, email or phone, which ever suits you) please reply to this or email me. my request is for anyone that lived or worked in the area (They need not have any knowledge of the regeneration strategies) that would be willing to answer a few questions about housing, employment, transport and population in the area.

Thanks Laura

The Bermondsey Riverside and Surrey Docks sectors of the former LDDC area are covered by the Rotherhithe and Bermondsey Local History Group - http://www.kingstairs.com/rotherhithe/

(I'm sure that you're aware of http://www.lddc-history.org.uk but others may be interested to learn more)
