Does anyone out there have any suggestions for an interesting party venue. I
am looking for something a little bit out of the usual, for March 22nd within
SE1 for a 50thbirthday. Our budget is not enormous and we need to be able
to accomodate 100-150 people. We are prepared to provide food and drink- its mainly the space we are looking for.

Anne,

If you want an outdoor space, the garden at the corner of Bermondsey Street and Tanner Street is available for rent I believe. Otherwise, I do not really know. Maybe approach the Methodist Church on Bermondsey Street?

Hello,

Many hanks for your response and suggestion. We will check out the garden corner, although I think it will be more suitable to find an indoor venue- I am finding it difficult to be optimistic about the weather!

all the best, Anne Smith

this may be a long shot, but there looks to be a great space within the alas yet unopened Fashion and Textile museum on Bermondsey street (Zandra Rhodes is behind this, and i think lives above it etc). no idea if she would be interested at leasing it out, but perhaps worth a try...

All the best, Anne Smith
