Please can anyone recommend a chiropractor, preferably fairly close to SE1/SE16?

possel, is a chiropractor the same as an osteopath? if it is how about that place at the borough, school of osteopathy i think...you dont need an appointment...near the post office..

Thanks but no, I don't think they are the same - but I'm not sure of the difference! The problem I have is with the muscles in my lower back and I think that an osteopath is concerned with bones. It was a chiropractor who fixed me before (but that was up north, too far to commute).

Osteopaths do treat muscular problems too. There's a description here of the sort of things they can help with: http://www.bso.ac.uk/mm1awhat.htm

More from an old thread (although, again, lots of mentions of osteopaths rather than chiropractors) http://www.london-se1.co.uk/forum/read/1/35350
