Perhaps his memory is tainted love.

i know lots of bands, but i don't necessarily know the names of all the band members (you see, i'm showing that i actually know that he was in a band, i just don't know which one or when, though obviously a while ago, and the 'tainted love' would make me think he was in that group with George Michael - Wham was it? didn't they sing Tainted Love?

Marc Almond was in Soft Cell - him another guy I think on keyboards. Tainted Love, a cover of Gloria Jones Northern Soul classic, came out in 1981.

George Michael buddied up with Andrew Ridgely to form Wham a few years later.

Not bad for a 27 yr old, eh?

TLMJJ, JonR is just a slip of a lad - he's too young to remember Soft Cell.
