Has anyone else noticed the huge rat colony on Hungerford Car Park? The rats are the biggest I've seen and very healthy looking. They seem to live on the rubbish and food scraps on the site. I would not recommend walking across it. Is the Council responsible for this? The rats are certainly a health hazard for local people and communters and tourists.

The car park belongs to the South Bank Centre, but Lambeth Environmental Health are the people to contact about enforcement action against SBC.

We are very grateful to Mr Lynch for bringing this to our attention. We have our pest control team on site from 8am tomorrow morning who will ensure this problem does not persist.

Oops too late.
