Is there a pro bono legal clinic in SE1 (preferably Bermondsey area). I am keen to volunteer and could probably convince some of my colleagues to assist.

Not SE1, but the closest voluntary law clinic I know is the Cambridge Law Centre in Camberwell.

Cambridge House

Liberty also have an advice line which is staffed from their SE1 office, which I've volunteered for before with my firm, but you need to know a bit of human rights law.

I don't know about the Bermondsey end of SE1, but both Waterloo Action Centre and Blackfriars Settlement have evening legal advice clinics.

Thanks for the replies. Seems like there is a gap in the market for a clinic in the Bermondsey/Borough/Bankside. Will make some enquiries.

Siduhe - is this something that would interest you?

There is a Bermondsey CAB that does legal advice I believe, but you're right about a gap in the market. The Waterloo Action Centre only sees Lambeth residents. Something near Borough would be fantastic! I really hope you can get something together.
