Have you ever walked under the Palestra in the rain. It drops off the 'overhang' in great big blobs. What I find most annoying though is the reflection of the sun off all these tall building; I often have to shut my blinds otherwise the glare catches the corner of my ey and sets off a migraine. There's one particular building over Bermondsey way, that looks as if it is on fire if there's a particularly bright sunset. I absolutely detest the design of the 'walkie talkie' building, it looks particularly awful looking down the river from Waterloo Bridge, as do many of those buildings in that direction. I don't mind some of the odd shapes, but they need to fit together and none of them do. The buiding at 240 Blackfriars Road is particularly hideous, more so when viewed from a distance.
