I attended the first part of the meeting but could not stay for the workshops.
On the whole I think it was a pretty good meeting - certainly much more constructive than previous meetings at which the issue was discussed.
Obviously lots of people had problems with what had happened in the past but on the whole effort seemed focused on how things could be improved in the future. The basic structure of the meeting was to go over the background, break into workshops to list problems people had with the traffic in the area and for Southwark officers to take these away and investigate (some TfL funding for this) and to come back to a future meeting with proposals to be consulted upon.
So there are no official proposals as yet (though lots of suggestions) but it's a case of watch this space over the next few months to see what emerges.
