Was I the only party pooper in bed by 1:30am this morning only to be woken by a whole series of LOUD fireworks between 1:30-1:45am around the Bermondsey Street area?

I know its normal for NYE celebrations etc, but I thought the timing was a little anti-social! Are there any noise regulations in place that prevent fireworks after a certain time of night?

Ho ho! I am sure there probably are noise regulations in place but I would imagine that on New Year's Eve such laws tend to be relaxed. Even for quite 'loud fireworks'. Sleep well. ;o)
