My friend said that a new tourist attraction is coming to London Bridge - "Terror Tunnel" i think it was called.

Does anyone know anything about this / where is might be going?

Sounds intriguing!

It already exists, but it's called the Rotherhithe Tunnel.

Are they redeveloping this tunnel then? She said it was going to be a bit like the London Dungeon...?

i think Kenwick was being a bit mischevious.
Rotherhith tunnel is a road tunnel under the thames, and it's quite small, and feels dangerous. It's in Rotherhithe, east of SE1 in SE16, it's not that near to London Bridge.

Probably in what was Cynthia's Cyberbar and then a fetish venue under London Bridge - there's been a lot a work happening there recently.

I'd been wondering what the building work in the former Wicked/Atlantis/Cynthia's/Dragon's Lair was all about - but I can't find anything recent in the planning or licensing databases.

Hmm, maybe it's not here then - surely they would need planning permission?!

Sorry bluebell171184. I was, as JonR pointed out, being a bit mischevious. According to Wikipedia (Rotherhithe Tunnel) "A 2003 survey rated the Rotherhithe Tunnel the tenth most dangerous tunnel in the whole of Europe". Hopefully the "Terror Tunnel" that you refer to will prove much safer!
