Reading that made me realize how often I've had friends going off to get wine while I'm cooking and I've said 'if you want white it's in the fridge by the queue but we'll have to chill it.'

I was there last night. I saw someone buying two bottles of Piat d'Or.

I thought it was confirmed as Tescos. I can't wait. Anyone know how big it will be?

I'm not quite sure I'm excited at the prospect of the opening of yet another Tesco. But after all it can't be worse than Sainsbury's BHS.

Enough already.....shop there or don't shop there - decide, but am I the only one who thinks this thread is way past its sell by date now ? No puns about sainsbury's goods please !
actually it's not past it's sell by date unfortunately.
four tiems now I have called various 'managers' over to the fridges and nothing is being done about it. I love the fact we have this shop so nearby but if you're looking at buying meat or anything perishable that you would normally put in a fridge, then forget it! I think it might be time for us to be contacting trading standards or whatver as the food in the summer will be dangerous due to non refridgeration.
what a big shame! The food in the fridges to the right at the back and along the side, all the way to and including the meat/fish fridges, has all been virtually luke warm to the touch.

Sainsburys product selection is woeful. For two months it has not stocked peppercorns. Not even catmilk with peppercorns.

A while back I saw Lord Lawson ask for a number of things, all of which were unavailable. He must be thinking that Sainsburys Borough High Street is a complete negation of the capitalist system.

I hope he didn't weep himself to sleep.

try emailing sainsbury's customer services via their website. they do reply even though noone seems to take any action.
