I'm looking for a good fishmonger in SE1 please! I need some good quality crabmeat and scallops.
Is Borough Market the only place? I am always a bit scared of going to furness fish in case they charge me a fortune.

I use Aberdeen Fish Products (or some name like that) in Toumlin Street (between Great Suffolk and Lant). Technically, they're wholesalers but are perfectly happy to serve passing customers. Can't vouch for the shellfish you need but their smoked salmon is brilliant and very reasonable as is their other fish.

Oh dear! Sorry you didn't get what you wanted. Unfortunately, they won't be open again today. I think they start at 5.30ish in the mornings and close mid/late morning as you have discovered. Not sure if they are open Saturday morning but possibly...
