I should probably have forwarded the info I received to James so that it was in the events diary.

Anyway Roots and Shoots is a lovely garden and a project to train young people with learning difficulties to be gardeners. It is off Walnut Tree Walk, which in turn is off Kennington Road SE11. Or you can get there through Fitzalen Street.

They hold fundraising events about 4 times a year, and they are well worth attending. Kids get to run around the garden and there is usually some for of crafts, story-telling, or educaitonal activity. There are always great home made cajes and tea, and plants and other stuff for sale. They now have quite a lot of indoor space so it should not matter if it is raining.

So if you are recovering from a Saturday spent watching the rugby this is a chance to get outside for a bit. It is really nice.
