Hello - my brother is looking to move to the Borough area. I live on Trinity St nr the tube and I'd like to find him somewhere near me if possible. He needs to rent a room for minimum 6 month period. He can pay 400 per month.
Mike - 29, tidy and considerate guy, great fun to be around and he is house trained...Honest.
Always handy to have around to pop the stubborn lids on your jam jars ladies.

Try Gumtree.com or Loot.com

I suspect that for 400 per month in SE1 he will be reduced to Barking. Or truly grim. Or room-sharing.

Or, if he's lucky, someone letting out a spare room in a home they own who is trying to keep below the rate where they have to declare it for tax!

That's less than 100 a week....he'll be lucky!

Lots of people live for less than 100 a week for a room in Borough. Many, many Kings students, for one!

Yes, you can get a room for 100 a week; I think some people may have got the impression he was looking for a whole place to himself. It'll be a room in a shared property rather than something self-contained.

Yes - I did mean a flatshare, not a flat to himself... I do respect the area everyone and know it's value. Thanks for all your input.

May be try Gum Tree, they have loads of rooms on there, local to SE1 and futher afield.

For 92 per week he will probably not find anywhere nice. If he expects his bills to be included, then it will be yet more difficult.
