Hello all,

The Event - Southwark Park
Sat 7th July 2007

Just wanted to let you all know first that this years line-up features Dave Edmunds and The Real Thing, with one more artist TBC.
The best thing about this event is that its all FREE..!!

Lets hope they dont have two bands performing simultaneously trying to outdo the decible level of each other as happened a few years ago! I have been told it was better last year?

Sunday 8th - Geno Washington and The Ram Jam Band. All go - he's wild and the band is fantastic. As you can guess - I'm a fan!!

Yes, Geno Washington will be playing along with Chas n Dave on Sunday 8th July 2007 on the Bandstand.
This is for the 'Big Picnic in the Park' to coincide with the Tour De France that passes Southwark Park on that day.

Once again it's all free.....

I'm new to this event but I could bring quite a few people with me to this event - looks like fun.

How come there's so few photos from the past events and also none from 2006?

Re. Photo's. We do try and get pics as and when of our gigs but most of the time they are not good quality.We haven't the budget to pay a photographer, so we have to rely on the public.

That's surely not the entire 'named' line-up of bands for both Saturday and Sunday is it? Also how do we find out who's on when on both days?
