Archbishop Rowan Williams made a very special visit to Archbishops Park this month to celebrate the installation of a new mosaic. The Archbishop himself helped to make the “dove of peace” above a “tree of life” made by local young people and residents. The installation is the culmination of a 4 way project that has taken 9 months to plan, design, make and install involving children from the Archbishops Davidson Institute (ADI), the Coin Street Family and Children's Centre, South Bank Mosaics and the Friends of Archbishops Park.

People can see this exquisite work of art in the new children's play area and we hope it will give visitors and residents pleasure, for many years to come.
