hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knew a good jeweller in the london bridge/tower bridge area. I have a watch and a necklace, both of sentimental value only, but I need them both lengthened a little to wear them. I hope this is possible, and obviously I want a good job doing!

The necklace is 24 cara gold, a thickish link. The watch is a bracelet type, nothing special.

Since I have never had anything like this done I would welcome recommendations

Lengthening chains and bracelets is a difficult business and rather expensive...shortening them is easier. There is a small jeweller in Borough High St. who I found pretty good...sorry that I dont remember the name. However this sounds very specialist, perhaps you should go to Hatton Garden or some real jewellery centre...and get some estimates.

Jo - try Hawkes & Sons in Walton Street, Sth Kensington. They are a traditional familly jeweller, extremely friendly and knowledgeable
