Apart from Dial a Ride and Ruskin, does anyone know of a company who can transport people in wheelchairs around the London area? Recently we took some people to Chichester and found they have some very good companies there but we don't seem to have much luck locally.

Chavender, do you mean individually or as a group? ComCab if they have a taxi-card, or try Patrick Horan the n ice disability man. He can advise..perhaps the council can rent one to you for a days outing...

Thanks Jan. We have tried Com Cab who also didn't turn up for one of our theatre trips and then turned up very late for other outings which is why we went to Ruskin. We are looking for transport for one person in a wheelchair who cannot mobilise, plus a helper. Will try and look up Patrick Horan, thanks.
