A wine shop opened on Saturday on the corner of Tower Bridge Road and Grange Road.

I popped in and bought a couple of bottles and had a good chat with the owners. They've just started up and have this new concept which I think is brilliant. They're passionate about making wine more accessible and making it easier to select a good botle. I won't try to explain it as their website does it far better than I can so I recommend a look:
They'll also start delivering cases to your door soon!

I haven't posted on this forum for a while but I felt these guys were worthy of a mention. I think it's exactly what the area needs so good luck to them.

I don't drink, but this is nonetheless a great addition to TBR. I hope they make a go of it.

I went in Saturday night also - nice blokes and some nice wine on offer.

Nice guys, but what a bizarre concept. They told me that they are basically a mail-order internet business.

TBR's fourth smart shop - SoBo, the Chinese, the Indian.

Bijan is quite smart too...

And the Hartley?

Glad to hear other people are as excited by this as I am!

Mapmaker, I think they plan to open more shops but to make ends meet they've got to be able to shift more than a couple of bottles at a time to passing trade. Which is the smart Chinese?

It's a beautiful looking shop. Haven't been in there yet, but next time I'm wine shopping I'll have to give it a try. This area had been missing a decent wine shop. Hopefully their business will be a success.

I wonder have they any special offers to mark their openning.

(no connection etc)

Not that impressed with the web site but I shall be popping into the shop asap.
