Hi I wonder if anyone can help me.
I have a washing machine and the bearings are worn and require replacing. The bearings are readily available on the internet.
I am perfectly capable of stripping down the washing machine and re assembling it myself, however I don't have the specialist tools required such as bearing pullers to remove and refit the new bearing on the spider/ rear drum assembly.
Does anyone know of any workshops or repair centres in the area, that I could take the assembly to, for them to change the bearing on it.
I want to avoid call out fees and expensive part costs by doing as much as possible myself.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi
I know I have posted this before but am now getting desperate. The machine has been lumbering on but has now got to the stage where I think it is unsafe to run it. The thought of the bearings completely failing while on a 1200 RPM spin cycle is a little disconcerting and so I have reached the stage where it is either replace or repair.
I would like to ask again if anyone knows who may be able to change the bearings on the drum/spider assembly to please let me know.
