I want to have sliding glass door fitted wardrobe installed. Quotes from companies invariably do not include side, back or top panels saying they are not needed. I feel they will give a more finished look. Anyone installed a fitted wardrobe without the internal side and back panel - do they look ok?

I have one that doesn't have a back panel, and it looks absolutely fine. Plus, not having the back panel saves some space in a tight area.

If you want your sliding doors with backs, drawers or any internal fittings try 'OPTIONS' based in Hackbridge/Mitcham. They do a great bespoke job at a reasonable cost. You can push them a little on the price as well. I have had three wardrobes fitted by them over the years with great service and they return after a month to make sure all is functioning properly.
