Can anyone help me?

An Oxfordshire-based chum seems to remember that there is a school (or estate) in/around Bermondsey where they have been trying to encourage sparrows by leaving out feeding boxes ... the council tried to ban them .. but the people/sparrows won!

Does this ring a bell with anyone?

We had the RSPB round asking us to put out meal worms for sparrows. This was on Alma Grove.

Google Bermondsey school sparrows and the first hit gives you a hint at what you want

Search for 'Bermondsey' towards the bottom of the webpage.
