Has anyone else had dodgy service from the Post office recently, most specifically from Mandela Way sorting office! I've had a parcel from Amazon go missing, they claim it's somewhere in their sorting office - they still haven't found it, it's been over a week now. Also, a letter with a recorded delivery sticker on it, was pushed through the letterbox while I was at work - i.e, not signed for - it had also been opened!
Anyone had recent similar problems? (I know problems at Mandela Way have been well documented in the past).

Oh per-lease,
no offence Lila,
but let's just establish-

We live within walking distance of parliament
our post offices are all closing,
our post arrives in batches on alternate days (if we're lucky)
They don't deliver parcels anymore,
they fine us if it's the wrong size/shape/weight,
there is no accountability,
SE1 residents travel to work/suburbs to post items.
We use our work address for important items.
Even govt. agencies use couriers for passports &c.
Banks won't post cards,
Small businesses' cash flow is hurt by cheque delay.
Kids don't get their birthday cards.

Anything else?
