Hi,
I'm looking for any details of a company called Ash's, who I believe were based in the Elephant and Castle area around the 1930's.

As far as I know, they were either involved in manufacturing, or something to do with ice cream (so maybe making ice-cream containers?). Also, I believe they have some link with Royal Doulton.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Dan Nye

You could try a trade directory of the period, such as Kelly's. I think that they have a full run at Southwark's local history library:

Wednesday Closed

or the old maps (there's a series of modern repints of ?1830s? maps. If libraries don't have them, then Stamfords in Long Acre do. On the back of the maps, they list which businesses were down the main roads).

...if you press it, they will come.
