Apparently, so did someone else. Now stencilled in. Not sure how long its been there - it is quite neatly done, so I almost didn't notice it.

Nothing wrong with my last meal there last sat or any other meal i have had there for that matter. It still remains my fav local restaurant.

I think the council are being pretty optimistic expecting anyone to get planning permission, design and build a restaurant on a fairly unpromising site (the disused loos corner of Grange and TBR) for a mere five year lease.It could easily take three years before you even got it open, how much longer to break even much less make any money.

And what is wrong with doing a minimum referb and re-opening it as an actual public toilet of which this area now has so few? If any. I can't think of any.

Lovely meal this tuesday at arancia - still drooling over the memory. Staff extremely friendly as well and they open sunday lunch now.

I thought the toilets were closed down because they were completely full of out of control cottagers?

Has the arancia really improved? I was very disappointed with the last 2 meals I had there-for the money. Tend to go to the Tower Bridge Tandori now.

Definitely a good meal back in October, due a visit soon so will report back again.

OK, So why did the close the women's toilets?

I guess that the cottagers would have moved to the women's?

so why didnt they just have it thatched

What would thatching have accomplished?
