I was thinking of how many areas SE1 actually covers...London Bridge, Borough, E&C, Waterloo, Blackfriars, parts of the OKR, and i've probably missed a few. I can't think of another London postcode that covers as much area? Please educate me if you know any different, i've only ever lived south-east London, thanks. It came up in discussion 1 boozy night down the Hornimans at Hays :O)
SE1 starts to look tiny compared, for example, with SW19 or E17.
I still wonder how the exact boundaries were drawn, and whether, when they were drawn up, anybody realised that they'd start to describe the locations that contained them. For example, house prices change sharply between NW6 and NW8, or NW2 and NW3. I soemtimes wonder what might happen if all the postcodes were changed overnight!
