Pub to watch football in, not get teeth knocked out?

anybody recommend a pub I might watch tonight's Tottenham v Villa match, somewhere with a few Brummies in please, not a load of 'Norf Lahndanars!'

Usually watch in the Shipwrights Arms in Tooley Street but they currently don't have Setanta. Occasionally use the Dean Swift on Gainsford Street but on Saturday for the Cheslea match they had no real ale on at all. Does the Wheatsheaf in Borough Market still have Sky/Setanta.
It seems quite difficult to find somewhere with both Sky and Setanta that serves decent food and real ale that doesn't insist on playing music during half-time or am I being too demanding ?

I agree with Frenchy, THe Horseshoe is great to watch footy in, with Santanta too ,as for someone changing there babys nappy at the bar inthe Marigold ,Dave the manager in the Horsshoe is a big Liverpool surporter and when Man City whip their [email protected]

I watched two games at the same time in the Horseshoe last night, Chelsea and Liverpool, not many people in there,I guess cause it was tuesday and both were on ITV.
Enjoyed Chelsea's win though....
Might give it a try tonight as there advertising both games on Sky.. also the Honey Bee ale was quiet nice if its still on.

This is great. I think we're going to try the Horseshoe for the next Sky/Setanta Liverpool game. Hopefully Jane won't be there ready to knock our teeth out.
