Hi all,

Just moved into the area into an unfurnished flat.

Got beds and kitchen more or less sorted but just wondering if anyone has any old (or new) furniture they want to get rid of or sell...friend mentioned this site so thought worth a whirl.

In need of:
- wardrobe
- sofa
- armchair

And prob loads more.

Hope someone can assist.

Cheers

The British Heart Foundation shop on the Old Kent Road is good for bargains on a range of furniture. Might be worth a try.

Welcome, Dave! You might try Gumtree.com as well--I've seen listings from people in the area.

Hi Dave,

you've probably seen it but there's a message here from a few days ago from a guy called Dean offering free furniture ...

Hi Dave,

we have just upgraded our sofa bed, and are wondering on how to deal with the old one. You're more than welcome to take it off our hands. It's apparently very comfortable to sleep on - it's not the comfiest for sitting on, but then it was only 199 from Argos.

it's blue

PM me if you're interested.

Hi Dave

Hope you're settling in well in SE1.

Looking for a home:
Two IKEA coffee tables (both 45cm high)
1st = 91 x 55cm in birch
2nd = 118 x 78cm in light brown/teak finish.

Also, 3-drawer Malm chest, in birch (unassembled).

All in reasonably good condition. Will shortly put items on Freecycle.

Nick
