I recently got my knives sharpened while I waited, it was a company called Clapham knife sharpening they did a good job;-)

A lot of butchers sharpen their own knives, so it's worth asking your local butcher if they can do your knives for you for a few quid - don't know any in SE1 though sorry.

It's not very convenient for people in SE1, but I have used Divertimenti's knife sharpening services for my global knives and they were good.

It does require you to drop them off and come back 4 or 5 days later to collect and given their locations are both west London, it may be a bit of a faff. But it's a good quality reliable service.

(also worth calling first to find out when the "knife guy" collects/drops off to minimise the time you are without your knives)
