There is also special screenings of CHESS IN CONCERT at the Odeon Shaftsbury avenue , and the Empire, Though probably not Empire one so it would be best to see at the Odeon Shaftsbury avenue.

I was out of London for the concert in Hyde park but listened to it on the bbc I player
And it was totally sensational,

I did see Tim Rice at one of the screenings of chess at the Odeon Covent garden.

It may be a trick of the memory, (after all it was almost 36 years ago,) but I seem to remember that the U.K. jury gave 'Waterloo' zero points in the Eurovision Song Contest back in 1974. I wonder if they've had a good night's sleep since. I've also read somewhere that although 'Waterloo' reached the number one spot here and in most of the rest of Europe, it didn't get to number one in Sweden.
Sorry to be pedantic, but Naoplean didn't actually surrender at Waterloo as the song says. He surrendered at Rochefort on the French coast some four weeks later. Having said that, I would swap what little knowledge I have of history for one millionth of ABBA's musical talent!

I visited Abba world today I thought it was most highly excellent and absolutely superb from beginning to end, when I saw the Eurovision medallion I felt like kneeling and praying in front of such a hallowed artefact, there were set ups of the recording studios laden with authentic personal possessions and original musical instruments. As well as incredible holograms.
All in all a top notch attraction.

On Tuesday I took this video of Freda and Björn
arriving at the opening.
