I know it's not SE1 but I am sure a lot of us use it.
I went there on Monday to do a bit of Christmas shopping, a rare visit, and had to drive through a contorted maze before I could park. On leaving I was diverted to the other end of the car park (Redriff Road, I believe) on leaving the parking area had to join, immediately, a queue on Deal Porters' Way and then took 25 minutes inching forwards to freedom. This was at 3.30 pm, not the busiest of times one would have thought.

So, be aware of what could await you.

It’s back to normal now, but it was a b*tch on weekends.
I usually shop at Tesco there on Mondays, and I never had much trouble getting out into Redriff Road, maybe I was lucky.

It's an absolute joke and will only get far worse with the "Rotherhithe Movement Plan" and TfL's cycle superhighway extension - worse for motorists, pedestrians, cyclists and commuters. As ever, though, the motorist will suffer most. Just two examples from several:

- To emerge from Trundleys Road onto Bush Road - something that at peak times takes just over a minute at the moment - is forecast to take at least 10 minutes once the "Movement Plan" is implemented.

- Driving from Lower Road (j/w Surrey Quays Road) to Creek Road will take 10 minutes longer.
