I'd say yes but I like to drive with the roof down and your hair might get all messed up

Birdie,
Does this mean that you are leaving the up-market hostel for SE1 posters?

I'm off to Elba too. Maurits didn't invite me - I'm just stalking him. Wearing a wedding dress and veil. Can anyone look after Birdie's cat while I'm away?

Do you kow, yesterday, when I woke up, I thought I was going to have a sh*t day because I couldn't get out of bed, was 10 mins late for work, within half an hour realised someone hadn't done the work I needed them to do so we could meet our deadlines, and our lunch had celeriac in it. This in addition to my huge project going pear-shaped, and my having to deal with the clients from hell. But somehow, I managed to have a really productive day, and left work late, but feeling v positive.

Today, I woke up early, jumped out of bed, left the house early so got the bus to work instead of the tube, had a good read, and felt very, very positive about the day ahead, thinking I could build on the achievements of yesterday, and get a lot done. But when I got to work, my computer was buggered, and the whole day turned out to be the sort of day where you wish you'd just stayed in bed.

Why does life always confound our expectations?
