Everything I Own by Ken Boothe?! Never heard of him.
I was hoping for something for more fab like Elton and Kiki, but sadly no.
And I got Lulu and Take that, Relight my Fire for my 'Life Theme'.
What that could possibly mean, I have no idea. Answers on a Postcard please.....

Oh dear, oh dear, Everything I Own is an absolutely beautiful reggae cover of an old Bread song. It is certainly much more fab than anything, the frankly cheesey Elton & Kiki did together. Ken Boothe has a very sweet, soulful voice, and you should try and get hold of a copy. It was more recently covered by Boy George.

Just looked mine up and it was The Stones and "Get off of my cloud". Close though. I was lodged between Ken Dodd and The Seekers.

Thank you Stan
You're not shifting me from my appreciation of some Elton and Kiki cheese though.
I've heard the Boy George cover, but wasnt sure if it was a cover, if you see what I mean.

oh no I'm not saying what mine was but Mogoot and JonR make me feel very very old, yes even older than birdie and I do take offence JonR. I'll need a drink now to cheer me up, thank goodness it's the social tomorrow. Make sure you save me a seat

I think it only requires a minor procedure nowadays, but I bet it was painful back then, eh?
