At first I'm sorry for my english :). What is the salary for a bus driver in London? Does anyone know "Tinseltown Restaurant"?

Tinseltown Restaurant is in the City, it's very near to Farringdon tube station, very cheap but very tasty. Don't serve any alcohol though, (booo hoooo!!!!)

According to advertisements on buses in London, you could be earning up to 450 a week as a bus driver. I don't know how many hours or what level of seniority that applies to.

All the answers are of course on the web...

Arriva operate about 1400 buses in London (and many more round the country). Their web site invites enquiries from qualified and non-qualified bus drivers (no funny comments, they do the training as well).

The Big Bus Company has a web page with vacancy information
http://www.bigbus.co.uk/uk/html/uk_recruitment.html (scroll down the page for driver information)

Wages? About 18-20,000 very approximately, depending on shifts, overtime, and before tax etc. And they are always recruiting (or at least the advertisment for drivers is always on display in the buses).

Tinseltown is a fun restaurant, always open, and the bext milk shakes in town (their web site doesn't lie). We've been there a few times on the way home and it's a friendly place at the strangest times of night! Always a few taxi drivers having a chat on their break, a few late clubbers, and some party people. And the food is good, if you like American diner stuff (which we do, obviously)..
