Good grief - a cider meeting where lots of people have actually said they can make it....
lets hope they all turn up, and something concrete can be arranged.

Great, we're going to make a multi-storey car park.

Looking fwd to Thursday.

Could I suggest that we all at least come prepared to talk about:

- dates we can/can't make (and dates the farm can/can't have us. If anyone can contact Emma and ask that in advance it would be VERY useful)

- whether any of us can help with the things that need to happen before/after the actual pressing (e.g. hiring a van; sorting out buying the apples; going to fetch the apples; sorting out hiring the presses; fetching the presses; taking the presses back after the pressing weekend; doing some prepping/cleaning work on the afternoon before pressing so we can start straight in on the Sat morning, etc)

- whether we want to risk the weather being good again like last year, or whether we want to rig up something to keep the rain off just in case

[Even more excited now.]

I can't make Thursday (I work everso hard you know) but I would like to be counted in as an extra pair of hands.

Having been the one to suggest Thursday in the first place, the vet phoned last night & my cat is going in for an op tomorrow. Depending on how she does, I'll either be along a bit later, 9ish, or I'll have to liase afterwards. Am happy to volunteer my services for sterilising/prepping duties.
