Another tower was approved subject to a Section 106 Agreement at the City of London planning committee today

106 - 126 Bishopsgate & 35-37 Camomile Street, EC2

"Demolition of existing buildings and redevelopment to provide Class B1 office and Class A retail development with associated parking, servicing and plant with the ability to pedestrianise part of Houndsditch. (68,279sq.m gross floor area) (Height 218.221m A.O.D.)"

We will have a mini Manhattan soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isn't that just the City agreeing to the additional storeys on the already approved Heron Tower???

My God, what IS your problem?? According to you, ANYTHING that's tall is automatically crap. Literally everything I've seen you post seems to be anti-highrise. Can you honestly look at these amazing renderings and say this will be a "crap" tower:

I suppose you think the Gherkin is crap as well. I bet you'd prefer if the City was completely flat, with no skyline or tall modern buildings whatsoever. You'd prefer London to be a kind of museum city.

Sorry if I seem aggressive or rude. But I'm just tired of hearing Micky give a totally negative opinion on just about EVERY single proposed skyscraper in London, when the majority of them are world class designs that are going to radically improve the skyline (in time for the 2012 Olympics, when the world's eyes are going to be focussed on this amazing city).
