I rather like Recalcitrant (but rarely get to use it). Meniscus is also fun.

me mum used it all the time...hobbledehoy.....also a middern to describe me bedroom when i ' cleaned' it!

Allusive is a current favourite (and I do get to use it a fair bit at work !)

But all time favourite is petrichor which means the pleasant smell that accompanies the first rain after a dry spell.

When I was young and had hair, one of my neighbours would describe me as "looking like a besom in a fit". So it's besom for me.
